Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification, experience with SPECT/CT technology, and BLS for a weekday position.

Responsibilities

• Position based in a nuclear medicine department specializing in diagnostic NM imaging only
• Work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week
• Utilizes GE Healthcare NM/CT 600 or 800 Series SPECT/CT and Xeleris 4 Workstation
• Epic EMR and Nuctrac are used for patient exam documentation
• IV placement required
• No nuclear medicine therapy procedures performed
• Must pass Tele/ECG and Medication competency tests when applicable
• COVID-19 vaccine with booster and current influenza vaccination required, though medical exemptions are accepted
• A 50-mile radius rule applies; local candidates are generally not accepted except on a case-by-case basis for hard-to-fill roles
• Parking may cost up to $43 per day at Boston locations
• Returning employees or travelers must have a 6-month break before being eligible for rehire

Requirements

• Active ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification is required
• BLS through the American Heart Association is required
• MA nuclear medicine technologist license required if applicable
• Experience with SPECT/CT, GE Healthcare equipment, and Xeleris workstation required
• Familiarity with Epic and Nuctrac systems
• Must have been separated from previous employment at the facility for at least 6 months to be considered
