A local manufacturing company is seeking a skilled Flux Core Welder (FCAW) to join their production team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing flux-cored arc welding on various metal components and structures in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and committed to producing high-quality welds consistently.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing flux-cored arc welding on various metal components and structures in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and committed to producing high-quality welds consistently.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform flux-cored arc welding (FCAW) on metal structures and components
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and weld symbols
- Set up welding machines and adjust settings based on job specifications
- Inspect welds to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
- Use grinders, cutting torches, and hand tools as needed
- Collaborate with production and fabrication teams to meet daily goals
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all safety protocols
- Perform basic equipment maintenance and report issues to supervisors
- Proven experience as a Flux Core Welder (FCAW)
- Ability to read and interpret welding symbols and engineering drawings
- Strong understanding of welding processes, metals, and fabrication techniques
- Ability to lift up to [X lbs] and perform physically demanding tasks
- Excellent attention to detail and quality control
- Must have reliable transportation and good attendance
- Must pass a weld test , background check, and drug screen (client specific)
- PPE required (weld hood, gloves, steel-toe boots, etc.)
- Experience welding in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- AWS certifications (optional but a plus)
- Experience with MIG, stick, or TIG welding
- Knowledge of fabrication and fitting
- Weekly pay through Express Employment Professionals
