Benefits Free Friday Breakfasts A positive and collaborative work environment Voluntary Life Insurance Short and Long Term Disability Medical, Dental and Vision Dental insurance 401K Matching (after 6 months of employment) Company work truck is provided (after 60 days of employment) Free uniforms Paid time off Flexible schedule Training & development Key Responsibilities Travel to residential job sites using a company‑provided service vehicle Perform diagnostics, routine maintenance, and repairs on whole‑home standby generators Troubleshoot and service mechanical and electrical components, including ATS systems Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals Clearly communicate with customers regarding services performed and any recommendations Accurately document all work in our service management software Follow safety protocols and industry best practices when working around electricity Support emergency service calls during weather‑related outages or storms, as needed Qualifications 1+ years of experience in generator service, small engine repair, or related mechanical/electrical work Strong customer service and verbal communication skills Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals Comfortable working independently in the field with minimal supervision High school diploma or equivalent required Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Physically able to perform job duties, including climbing ladders, lifting equipment, and working in outdoor environments Familiarity with residential generator systems and ATS technology is a plus Position Details Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (occasional flexibility required for emergencies) Job Type: Full-time Compensation: Based on experience and skill level Travel: Local/regional service calls using a company-provided vehicle Why Join Generator Supercenter Industry‑leading training and support Competitive pay and advancement opportunities Company-provided vehicle, tools, and equipment Be part of a growing team making a real impact in energy reliability and security #J-18808-Ljbffr Generator Supercenter
