Senior Software Engineer

Paramount Skydance Corp. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and build advanced AI-powered tooling and internal platforms that modernize quality engineering across the organization. This is not an "in test" role — you will be building production systems, internal platforms, and intelligent automation services that materially improve engineering efficiency. You will lead the development of AI-driven services, RAG pipelines, and automation accelerators that streamline test authoring, triage, and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement AI-driven services, micro-platforms, and developer tools that support GQE.
• Build and optimize RAG pipelines, embeddings systems, and LLM-powered utilities.
• Develop intelligent automation accelerators that classify failures, detect flakiness, and recommend fixes.
• Integrate AI capabilities into CI/CD pipelines and existing automation frameworks.
• Partner with QE, Platform, and Data Engineering to define requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and propose functional applications.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience with robust backend expertise.
• Proven experience building production-grade AI or ML-powered systems.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, and cloud platforms.
• Hands-on experience with vector databases, embeddings, and LLM orchestration.
• Experience integrating tools into CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
