Are you an expert in precision and a champion of high-quality manufacturing? As a Precision Manufacturing Expert in Sharon, MA, you will play a crucial role in honing the productivity and efficiency of our machining processes. Your expertise will be pivotal in meeting our production goals with excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Execute setups and operate complex CNC and manual machinery, such as lathes, mills, and grinders.
- Read, analyze, and apply technical drawings and design specifications effectively.
- Supervise final product checks to ensure compliance with stringent specifications.
- Solve equipment challenges to maintain machine operating levels optimally.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance production quality and efficiency.
- Mentor and lead junior team members, providing guidance and training.
- Maintain safety standards and a tidy work area to promote an organized environment.
- High school graduate with completed courses in technical or machining programs preferred.
- Five-year minimum in machining roles, with a deep understanding of CNC programming techniques.
- Experienced in using precision measurement devices like calipers and micrometers.
- Strong analytical mindset with acute attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work autonomously as well as in team settings.
- Possess clear communication capabilities and a cooperative attitude.
Access to our facility (and, therefore, employment) is restricted under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR) to U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents of the United States and properly-licensed foreign persons.
Excel in these areas:
- Utilization of GD&T
- Problem-solving skills tailored to troubleshooting
- CNC programming acumen
- G-Code and M-Code familiarity
- Proficiency in preparing machines for production activities
- Skilled in manual machining techniques
Experience with:
- CNC Mills (3-4 axis VMC) from brands such as Fanuc, Haas, Okuma
- CNC Lathes (2-4 axis) like those from Haas, DMG Mori Seiki
- Mitsubishi CNC Grinding equipment
- Designing using CAD (Solidworks)
- Programming with CAM (Mastercam)
- Operating Cylindrical Grinders
