Job Summary:
Pediatric Recovery Room Nurse (PACU Pediatrics) in a healthcare facility located in the region. This position involves providing specialized post-anesthesia care for pediatric patients, managing airway, assessment, medication administration, and discharge teaching. The role requires direct patient care across a variety of procedures and patient populations, ensuring safe and effective recovery.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Valid nursing license with at least 1 year of related experience; 12 years of experience preferred
• Required Qualifications: 12 years of experience as a pediatric recovery room nurse, active nursing license, and preferably familiarity with pediatric post-anesthesia care procedures
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with airway management, scoring systems such as Modified Aldrete Score, and pediatric discharge protocols
• Responsibilities include managing airway, assessing vital signs, administering medications, and providing discharge education for pediatric patients recovering from anesthesia
• Schedule details: Entire shift is scheduled during daytime hours, with shifts comprising 8 hours each and working at least 40 hours per week
