Job Description A Security Officer - Evenings in Litchfield Park, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help maintain an orderly environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally, and support security-related operations through teamwork and integrity. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor access points at a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials and authorization, and maintain visitor, contractor, and delivery records. Control entry and exit of commercial vehicles, coordinate with receiving and shipping personnel, and direct authorized drivers to designated areas. Respond to access-control concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document and report relevant information according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading docks, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: A Guard Card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
