The Electrical Superintendent position will be expected to lead and coordinate electrical construction activities on projects. This role is vital in ensuring that electrical systems are installed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with all project specifications and industry standards. As an integral part of the construction management team, you will assist oversee daily operations, supervise field personnel, manage schedules, and ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle. Your expertise will help drive project success while maintaining a focus on safety, budget adherence, and timely delivery.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical installation activities on construction sites, ensuring compliance with blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Supervise and coordinate electrical crews, subcontractors, and vendors to meet project milestones and quality standards.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using construction management software to track progress and identify potential delays.
• Collaborate with project managers to prepare and manage budgets, estimates, and procurement of materials using estimating tools.
• Review contracts, change orders, and scope of work to ensure clarity and adherence to project requirements.
• Conduct regular safety inspections in accordance with OSHA regulations; enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for testing electrical systems and troubleshoot issues related to wiring, schematics, or equipment failures.
• Monitor quality control processes through blueprint reading, schematic analysis, and onsite inspections to ensure workmanship meets standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation of daily activities, safety reports, inspection logs, and progress reports for project records.
• Support project scheduling efforts by coordinating with other trades and managing dependencies across the pipeline of work.

Required:

• Strong Electrical construction knowledge
• Commercial/Industrial electrical experience
• Strong NEC knowledge
• Ability to lead with humility and accountability
• Clear communication skills
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass background check
