TN Facility Name: Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital Schedule: Full-Time; Monday-Friday (8am-5pm) Productivity incentives: $1,500 CME allowance + 5 dedicated CME days Malpractice coverage with tail What You Will Do You will join our Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford team as a dedicated 1:1 clinical partner to a leading General Cardiologist, serving as an essential extension of their practice across both hospital and clinic environments. Join an established team of 13 physicians and 11 APP's Call structure: N/A Practice setting: 50% inpatient, 50% outpatient Employed position within a nonprofit health system Board Certified or Board Eligible in cardiology Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration Inpatient Care (50%): Conduct daily hospital rounding, admission workups, diagnostic order management, and discharge planning for general cardiology patients. Outpatient Care (50%): Manage clinic appointments, routine cardiac follow-ups, post-hospital discharge visits, medication titrations, and patient education. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
