Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced Forklift Driver for an 8-week contract assignment. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of forklift operating experience and a proven track record of safely handling materials in warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environments. This role requires a dependable individual who can work efficiently while maintaining the highest safety standards.
Responsibilities- Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, transport, and store materials.
- Move products and materials throughout the facility while following safety protocols.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate inventory and material movement records.
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations as needed.
- Ensure products are handled properly to prevent damage.
- Follow OSHA regulations and company safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Minimum 10 years of forklift operating experience required.
- Previous experience in warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, or distribution environments.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical warehouse duties.
- Reliable attendance and ability to commit to the full 8-week contract.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience operating multiple forklift types, including sit-down, stand-up, and reach trucks.
- Experience with RF scanners and inventory systems.
- Shipping and receiving experience.
- $28.00 per hour
