Your Mission is Ours.The information below reflects the standard job description for this position:Conducts research and plans development and design of gas and solid state lasers, masers, infrared, and other light emitting and light sensitive devices. Designs electronic circuitry and optical components with specific characteristics to fit within specified mechanical limits and to perform according to specifications. May conduct application analysis to determine commercial, industrial, scientific, medical, military or other use for electro-optical devices.Basic QualificationsFamiliar with high-precision timing signals (aka low-phase-noise signals)Familiarity with analog circuit design (for example: TTL signals, Sinusoids and/or square waves, Rectangular pulses for 1 PPS)Demonstrated design experience with Zuken/Xpedition/ or AltiumWorst Cast Circuit Analysis (WCCA) experienceDesired SkillsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education3+ years of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline.Familiarity with lasers/laser build up in a laboratory settingFamiliarity with Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) fabrication and testing CCAsProficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $110300.00 - $204900.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
