Desktop Support Engineer Compensation: $23 - $25 per hour • Location: Oklahoma City, OK • On-site • Consulting 6 month contract opportunity Fully On-site in OKC • AD, SNOW, SCCM A bit about us: We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Desktop Support Engineer to join our tech services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert-level technical support, troubleshooting, and consulting services to our clients, ensuring their IT systems run smoothly and efficiently. Utilizing SCCM for system management tasks, including software distribution, updates, and patch management. Performing imaging tasks to create, manage, and deploy system images for various hardware platforms. Working with Citrix environments, including the setup, management, and troubleshooting of virtual applications and desktops. Maintaining and managing Windows 10 systems, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and upgrades. Providing expert consulting services to clients, advising on best practices and strategies for managing their IT systems. Collaborating with other team members and stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality technical support services. Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies, trends, and best practices in IT support and consulting. Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a desktop support or IT consulting role. Expert knowledge of SCCM, imaging, Citrix, and Windows 10. A professional certification such as MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert) or COMPTIA (Computing Technology Industry Association) is highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals. A customer-focused approach, with the ability to provide high-quality technical support and consulting services. The ability to work well in a team, as well as independently. A passion for technology and a desire to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in the tech services industry.
