Job Summary

Bertrand Chaffee Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physician Assistant to join our Ambulatory Surgery Clinic team in Springville, New York. Responsibilities:

• Provide medical care and support to patients under the supervision of a physician in the Ambulatory Surgery Clinic

• Conduct patient evaluations, perform procedures, and prescribe medications as necessary

• Develop and implement patient care plans, taking into account individual patient needs and medical histories

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and treatment plans

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and clinic operations

• Stay up-to-date with the latest medical guidelines, research, and technologies to provide cutting-edge care

Requirements:

• Master's degree or higher in Physician Assistant studies

• Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)

• Current New York State license to practice as a Physician Assistant

• Prior experience as a Physician Assistant in an ambulatory surgery setting preferred. New Graduates are encouraged to apply.

• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of medical procedures and treatments

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
