Marine Mechanic

Dewey’s Cook Inlet has been doing business in Alaska for 50+ years and is the leader in Marine & Yamaha outboard sales. We take pride in being able to help people get on the water, and are looking to hire a Marine Mechanic to join our team and help accomplish this.
Duties include diagnosing and repair of: Yamaha outboard systems, various boat electrical systems, Navionics systems, trailer repair, etc. As well as using a computer to: keep track of parts used, write repair orders, and track labor spent on jobs.
Minimum one year of marine mechanic experience required.
Must have: Standard set of tools, a valid Alaska driver’s license & qualify for company insurance.
Must be punctual, reliable, and able to work a full time schedule. Applicants must be SAFETY conscious and have experience in the marine industry.
During summer months, overtime may be required due to high workload.
