At this time, we are not working with any agencies.The Assistant Property Manager is responsible for administration of all tenant leases, billing and collecting tenant receivables, generating monthly reports for owner, preparing vendor service and construction contracts, supervising vendor and contractor services and assisting in annual budget preparation. The Assistant Property Manager is also responsible for assisting the Property Manager with duties as necessary.Responsibilities:Provide world-class client supportAssist with bid process of contracted servicesPrepare lease summaries of new tenantsAssist with the preparation of monthly financial reportsAssist Property Manager in preparation of the annual budget and operating expense escalationsCollect rent and handle minor accounts issuesMonitor tenant relationsDraft correspondence on various matters pertaining to property managementMonitor the maintenance work order systemPrepare monthly report on status of tenant complaints in all buildingsWork on special projects under supervision of Property ManagerWork with engineering staffConduct routine property inspectionsAssist in answering tenant service callsDesired Competency, Experience and Skills:Bachelor's Degree or 2+ years' experience in commercial property industryReal Estate LicenseYardi and MRI property management software experienceExcellent customer service skillsBasic accounting skills and knowledgeGood organizational skillsAttention to detailProficient with Microsoft Excel and WordStrong verbal and written communicationEssential Functions:Provide daily assistance and support to Property Manager in management of portfolio or building.Management, Tenant, and Vendor relations.Property scheduling and communication with tenants and vendorsAssist with accounting, reporting and budgeting tasks.This position is 100% in-office. The role requires working in office during standard business hours.
