CDL-A Regional Driver
$1,300 - $1,650 per weekCk Transportation
Weekly Pay: $1,300–$1,650
Home Time: Weekly reset
Freight: No-touch regional dry van
Location: Roanoke, VA 24011
Position Overview
This regional CDL A driving position is built around consistent regional freight and dependable lane coverage throughout the Southeast and neighboring states. Drivers operate on established routes that support reliable freight movement week after week, allowing for more predictable schedules and steady mileage. The account is designed for drivers who want a straightforward operation with organized dispatch and regular home time.
Freight & Schedule
Drivers haul primarily no-touch dry van freight on established regional lanes. Most loads are drop-and-hook, helping reduce time spent at shipping and receiving facilities, while some live loads are part of normal operations. Freight remains active throughout the year, giving drivers the opportunity to maintain consistent weekly miles without frequent changes in routing.
Drivers are home every week for a reset. Dispatch works to build efficient load plans that keep trucks moving while supporting dependable home time and balanced weekly schedules.
Equipment
Drivers are assigned newer sleeper tractors with automatic transmissions and modern safety technology. Trucks are maintained on a preventative maintenance schedule to improve reliability and minimize downtime. Dry van trailers are well maintained and support consistent freight movement across the regional network.
Pay & Benefits
Drivers typically earn between $1,300 and $1,650 per week based on miles and experience. Weekly direct deposit is available, and detention pay is provided when applicable. Consistent freight volume helps create dependable weekly earnings throughout the year.
Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, paid time off, retirement plan options, and a rider policy after the eligibility period.
Experience Requirements
Applicants must possess a valid Class A CDL and recent tractor-trailer experience. Qualified drivers must meet one of the following experience requirements:
- 3 months in the last 6 months
- 6 months in the last 12 months
- 12 months in the last 2 years
- 18 months in the last 3 years
