A Work Truck Sales Representative sells new/used trucks (light, medium, heavy-duty) to businesses/individuals, focusing on understanding client needs (fleet, construction, etc.), presenting solutions (specs, financing, body upfits), managing leads in CRM, building pipelines through field visits, and closing deals, requiring strong communication, product knowledge, self-motivation, and a valid driver's license.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales & Prospecting: Generate leads, meet customers (on lot, at their site), present solutions, negotiate, and close sales for new/used trucks, trailers, and equipment (liftgates, toolboxes).
• Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Maintain client portfolios, document all interactions (calls, quotes, follow-ups) in CRM (like Microsoft Dynamics), and build long-term relationships.
• Product Expertise: Stay updated on truck specs, features, financing options, and industry trends to provide tailored advice.
• Internal Collaboration: Work with service, finance, and engineering teams for customer satisfaction, repairs, and custom builds.
• Market Presence: Attend trade shows, make field sales calls, and stay active in the local market.

Qualifications:

• Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, problem-solving, self-motivation, computer skills (CRM, MS Office).
• Experience: Prior sales, automotive, or engineering background is helpful.
• Education: High school diploma/GED required;
• License: Valid driver's license with a clean record is essential.
