Orthopedics Physician Assistant

Overview

Bassett Healthcare Network , a progressive, academic health system in Central New York, major teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join our Department of Orthopedics.

• Salary Range: $125,000 - $150,000
• Sign-on Bonus: up to $50,000
• Additional: $20,000 by joining a twice per month call group
• Location: Cooperstown, NY

Job Description & Responsibilities

• Join an established group of Orthopedic Surgeons and 13 Advanced Practice Clinicians
• Responsibilities will include clinic, hospital floor and OR coverage
• After training period, primary location to be Cooperstown, NY
• Practice within Bassett Healthcare Network, an integrated system delivering care across an 8-county region
• New grads welcome - defined ramp up and training

Requirements

Job Qualifications

• National certification as a Physician Assistant
• New York medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
• BLS certification required
• DEA required

Compensation

• Salary Range: $125,000 - $150,000
• This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
• Sign-on Bonus: up to $50,000
