You will collaborate closely with educators, therapists, and families to develop communication strategies that help students thrive academically and socially. Key Responsibilities Provide speech and language therapy services to K–12 students Conduct assessments, evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans Write evaluation reports and contribute to IEP development Program, monitor, and maintain AAC devices and communication systems Collaborate with teachers, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and families to support student goals Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation Complete Medicaid billing and required service records Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings Promote functional communication skills that enhance independence and classroom participation Qualifications Required Master’s Degree in Speech‑Language Pathology Current Arizona Speech‑Language Pathologist License Arizona Department of Education Certificate Ability to obtain an AHCCCS Provider Number and NPI for Medicaid billing Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Preferred Arizona Hearing Screening Certificate Experience working with AAC devices and communication systems Experience supporting students with developmental disabilities Work Environment School‑based setting serving K–12 students Collaborative and student‑centered culture Active role working directly with students throughout the school day Supportive team focused on safety, growth, and positive outcomes Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds with assistance Make a Difference Every Day If you’re looking for an opportunity where you can positively impact students’ lives, work alongside a supportive team, and enjoy a schedule that prioritizes work‑life balance, we’d love to hear from you.
