How you'll contribute Performs radiology and CT studies to assist in diagnosis and treatment of disease. Ensures compliance with patient care quality standards for patients of all ages. Maintains efficient department operation while complying with JCAHO, federal, and state laws. Provides patient education. Assists in maintaining records and reports. Takes call as scheduled. Interacts professionally with patients, families, physicians, physician offices, and other departments to ensure highest quality patient care. Demonstrates good radiation safety practices. Performs radiographic and CT for all age groups. Familiar with screening for contrast risks, injecting contrast, and managing reactions. Starts exams using proper technique. Familiar with RIS, Teleradiology, Tele Neurology, AW Workstation, and PACS systems. Monitors departmental activities to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Provides care appropriate to patient condition and age. Follows HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and confidentiality. Administers oral and IV contrast under direction of a radiologist. Graduate of an AMA‑approved school of Radiologic Technology. Certifications Registered or eligible for registry by ARRT in Radiography and cross‑trained in CT/MRI/Mammography or registered in CT/MRI/Mammography within 12 months of hire.
