Join to apply for the Bookkeeping role at Scherzo Technologies, Inc. The Accounts Payable Bookkeeper shall report to the Director of Accounting Services. This is a full-time or part-time position, as per the Central Office support staff agreement. Requirements Degree in Accounting or related field. Experience in accounts payable/bookkeeping. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience with computerized accounting software. Proficiency in standard office machinery including personal computers, ten-key adding machines, typewriters, FAX machines, and copy machines. Other qualifications as deemed appropriate by the Director of Accounting Services. Duties and Responsibilities Prepare and process all vendor invoices for payment. Process monthly general fund check runs. Prepare manual checks as needed. Handle conference registration payments for employees. Manage purchase order procedures. Prepare and process weekly check runs for various funds (Student Activity, Athletic, Hot Lunch). Maintain bank records and reconcile accounts. Prepare financial batch entries for various funds. Cross-train in Payroll/Human Resources. Provide backup for telephone and reception duties. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Accounting Services.
