Loan Officer / Sales Professional - Construction & Investor LendingOur client is seeking an experienced Loan Officer / Sales Professional with strong expertise in Ground-Up Construction, Light & Heavy Rehab, Bridge, and DSCR business-purpose loans. This role is ideal for a producer who understands builders, project budgets, and construction workflows and who excels at originating loans in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOriginate business-purpose construction and investment loans for builders, developers, and real estate investorsDevelop and manage a pipeline of Ground-Up Construction, Rehab, Bridge, and DSCR opportunitiesReview construction plans, specs, budgets, and schedules to assess feasibility and ensure alignment with underwritingAdvise builders and investors on loan structures, draw processes, and project financing strategiesBuild and expand referral networks including builders, contractors, developers, mortgage brokers, and real estate professionalsCollaborate with underwriting, operations, and draw management teams to ensure smooth loan processing and exceptional client experienceMaintain CRM accuracy and track all sales activity, pipeline status, and borrower communicationRepresent company at industry events, builder meetings, and market outreach initiativesRequired QualificationsMinimum 3 years of experience in construction lending, investor lending, or related real estate financeStrong understanding of construction plans, specs, budgets, and project timelinesProven track record of loan origination or B2B sales successAbility to analyze project feasibility and communicate financing solutions clearlyComfort working with builders, contractors, mortgage brokers, and investorsHigh level of professionalism, communication, and follow-throughPreferred ExperienceBackground in private lending, hard money, or construction financeFamiliarity with draw schedules, inspections, and project monitoringExisting builder, investor, or mortgage broker networkCompensation & BenefitsBase salary plus competitive commission structureExpense reimbursement for travel, client meetings, and business developmentFull benefits package including health, dental, vision, and PTOCareer growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding national lender
