About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse - ICU Profession: RN Specialty: RN - ICU Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Preferred experience in an acute care facility License: Required Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice Certifications: Required Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Must-Have: Recent EPIC experience Description: Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff. Coordinate care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment. Collect relevant data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Analyze the assessment data to determine diagnoses and care issues. Develop a plan that prescribes interventions to attain desired outcomes. Implement the plan, coordinate care delivery, and employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment. Evaluate progress toward attaining outcomes. Collaborate with the patient, family, and healthcare providers in providing patient care in a safe, healing, humane, and caring environment. Provide learning opportunities for patients, family members, and team members. Directly provide health information to patients and families. Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care. Delegate appropriately and coordinate duties of healthcare team members. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Commit to the safety and wellbeing of all associates and patients. Receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment, with possible medical and religious exemptions.
