MLR (MLee Recruiting) is seeking a dedicated, full-time Ultrasound Technologist to join the healthcare team at a respected acute-care hospital located near Brownwood, Texas!

Salary: $62,599 to $88,759 per year

In this role, you will perform various diagnostic ultrasound procedures to support patient diagnosis and treatment planning while upholding the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts, Thursday through Saturday, from 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM.

Key Duties:

• Prepare and position patients for ultrasound exams, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
• Operate ultrasound machines proficiently to obtain high-quality diagnostic images of internal organs and structures.
• Analyze and interpret ultrasound images, providing essential information to aid in the diagnosis of medical conditions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient histories, performed procedures, and diagnostic results.
• Work closely with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare team members to discuss findings and optimize patient care.
• Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of ultrasound equipment, reporting any technical issues promptly.
• Educate patients about the procedure, address any concerns, and provide post-procedure instructions.

Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited Radiology or Ultrasound program.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in ultrasound.
• ARRT or ARDMS certification.
• Current BCLS certification.
• Texas Medical Board MRT or ARDMS certification.
• Professional appearance and conduct.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with patient information.
