Location Dallas, TX Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Lead the architecture, design, and successful delivery of a modern enterprise data warehouse leveraging Databricks and cloud-based technologies. Act as the primary onsite technical point of contact between client stakeholders and offshore development teams. Coordinate, mentor, and manage offshore engineering teams to ensure high-quality deliverables and timely project execution. Develop and implement scalable ETL/ELT solutions to integrate data across various systems and departments. Create and optimize large-scale data processing workflows using Spark, PySpark, SQL, and Delta Lake. Establish coding standards, review processes, development methodologies, and engineering best practices. Partner with business stakeholders, IT teams, analysts, and project managers to gather requirements and shape technical roadmaps. Contribute to sprint planning, effort estimation, backlog management, and overall delivery governance. Maintain platform scalability, security, data integrity, and operational stability. Lead issue resolution, performance tuning, and ongoing production support initiatives. Support the development of long-term data governance frameworks and analytics strategies. Qualifications: 7+ years in Data Engineering/Data Warehousing. 3+ years of hands-on Databricks experience. Strong expertise in Spark, PySpark, SQL, Python, Delta Lake, and ETL/ELT pipelines Experience leading offshore/distributed teams and client-facing engagements Azure cloud experience is required.
