Basic Function and Responsibilities

Responsible for general clean up in the plant, helping to control dust, and regular cleaning of office, breakroom and restrooms at all SCS facilities in Fremont.

Essential Functions

• Sweep and control dust in all plant locations
• Clean bathrooms
• Dust and vacuum offices and conference rooms
• Straighten and wipe down all tables and chairs in the plant breakrooms
• Clean microwaves in the plant breakrooms
• Clean refrigerator in plant breakrooms as needed
• Sweep breakroom floor and employee entrances
• Empty all trash cans into trash dumpsters outside employee entrances
• Empty all pop cans into trash bags and store for recycling
• Wipe down pop and vending machines in the plant breakrooms
• Clean and sanitize the restrooms
• Fill water and Gatorade Thermos containers during warm weather months
• Clean windows
• Other duties as assigned
• Valid Drivers License

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work with little supervision
• Ability to manage time and work efficiently

Work Environment and Physical Demands

• Occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs.
• Constant standing, walking and bending over
• Work with cleaning supplies and chemical
• Majority of work is inside, will work outdoors once a week to pick up banding and scrap lumber
