Kindergarten Teacher

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Kindergarten Teacher to join our team at Caldwell County Primary School. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and engaging learning environment that fosters the intellectual, social, and emotional development of young children. This full‑time position requires a commitment to promoting a love of learning while implementing age‑appropriate curricula that align with educational standards. Responsibilities Develop and implement daily lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of all students. Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and collaboration. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students and parents on academic and social development. Foster a love of learning through creative and interactive teaching methods, including hands‑on activities and play‑based learning. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the community to support student achievement and well‑being. Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment, adhering to school policies and procedures. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational best practices. Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, classroom activities, and school events. Support students in developing social skills, emotional regulation, and conflict resolution strategies. Implement classroom management strategies that promote positive behavior and respect among students. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field. Valid teaching certification for Kindergarten or Early Childhood Education. Experience working with young children in an educational setting preferred. Strong understanding of child development and age‑appropriate teaching practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. Ability to create a dynamic and engaging learning environment that supports diverse learning styles. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom for all students. CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
