Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, energetic, and animal-loving Dog Daycare & Boarding Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing safe, clean, and fun care for dogs in both our daily playgroups and overnight boarding facilities. You will monitor dog interactions, maintain a sanitized environment, and ensure each pet receives top-tier care and attention.

Key Responsibilities

• Playgroup Monitoring: Supervise open play areas to maintain a safe, calm, and positive environment; recognize and de-escalate stressful behaviors or potential conflicts.
• Daily Care & Feeding: Administer meals, fresh water, and medications strictly according to owner instructions.
• Facility Maintenance: Clean and sanitize play yards, kennels, suites, and common areas (scooping waste, mopping, washing bedding, and sanitizing toys).
• Health & Safety Tracking: Continuously monitor dogs for signs of illness, injury, or unusual behavior and report concerns to management immediately.
• Customer Service & Records: Assist with client drop-offs and pick-ups, record daily behavioral logs, and communicate updates to pet parents.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Prior experience handling dogs in a professional or volunteer setting (shelter, vet clinic, or daycare) preferred.
• Physical Capability: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout an entire shift; comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Skills: Knowledge of basic canine body language, behavior, and pack dynamics.
• Availability: Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and early morning or evening shifts as needed.
• Attributes: Strong attention to detail, punctual, reliable, and passionate about animal welfare.
