About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mids Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 2+ years License: RN License Required Certifications: ACLS, PALS, NRP preferred, TNCC preferred Must-Have Skills/Experience: Trauma, Cardiac, Ortho Description: Founded in 1954 to meet the medical needs of the community. The Emergency Department includes 25 beds. The patient ratios are 1:5. Equipment used includes a Tele-med cart, Baxter IV, and Omnicelle. The EHR system in use is Meditech. Supervisors are readily available for support. The patient population consists of adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Common diagnoses and treatments include cardiac, respiratory, and orthopedic issues. Candidates must exhibit a family-oriented personality. Dress code requires navy or black scrubs, and only hospital t-shirts are permitted. Attire displaying other hospital logos is not acceptable. Preferred experience includes triage. Float requirements may include ICU, CCU, or Medical Surgical units.
