PRN Therapist Position at Mount Carmel Behavioral Health

Mount Carmel Behavioral Health is looking for a PRN Therapist to help us to assess, diagnose and provide clinical services for those with behavioral health disorders.

Located in Columbus, Ohio, Mount Carmel Behavioral Health is a preferred provider of comprehensive inpatient and intensive outpatient programming for adults of all genders who have been experiencing acute symptoms of anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and other mental or behavioral health concerns.

What You'll Do

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy.
• Complete psychosocial assessments and help develop treatment and discharge plans.
• Create and update individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and case managers.
• Maintain timely clinical documentation.
• Manage an assigned caseload.
• Support discharge planning and aftercare coordination.
• Always promote patient safety and positive experiences.

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
• At least one year of experience with a similar patient population.
• Licensed or license-eligible in your state.

28.50/hr-$35.43/hr if provisionally licensed

$32.00/hr - $39.78/hr Licensed

Essential functions include applying psychotherapeutic techniques and interventions, conducting psychosocial assessments, developing discharge plans, conducting individual, group or family sessions, providing initial treatment planning, maintaining documentation, maintaining a caseload, participating in treatment team meetings, providing services in an inpatient or outpatient setting, performing case management, discharge or after care planning, demonstrating a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers, and performing other functions and tasks as assigned.

Education/experience/skill requirements include a master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or Human Services field, one or more years' experience working with comparable patient population, requisite state or national licensure for professional therapy providers, CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification, and first aid may be required based on state or facility.
