Medical Device Intake & Processing Technician – 2nd Shift

Shift: Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM–8:30 PM

Join a growing medical device organization where your work directly supports the processing of devices used in patient care. As a Medical Device Intake & Processing Technician , you will be responsible for receiving, preparing, and processing medical devices, verifying information, and accurately uploading device data into internal systems.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable working with computers, and interested in gaining experience in the medical device industry. Previous medical device or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.

What You'll Do

• Receive and process returned medical devices in accordance with established procedures.
• De-kit and prepare devices for processing while maintaining an organized and efficient workflow.
• Verify patient and device information for accuracy before processing.
• Upload and transfer device data into proprietary software and systems.
• Perform accurate data entry while following established productivity and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) .
• Follow all company procedures, work instructions, and SOPs .
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area within the Patch Intake department.
• Properly sort and dispose of recycling and waste according to company procedures.
• Identify and report quality, safety, documentation, or processing issues to the appropriate team members.
• Meet daily productivity, accuracy, quality, and turnaround-time expectations.
• Participate in 5S, Lean, and continuous improvement activities.
• Work collaboratively with team members to maintain an efficient and compliant operation.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in medical device, healthcare, manufacturing, warehouse, production, or data entry is a plus.
• Strong computer and data-entry skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow written procedures and detailed work instructions.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to meet productivity and quality expectations in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable and reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Comfortable working as part of a team.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work assignments.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to ask questions when clarification is needed.
