Assistant Salon Manager Assistant the salon manager with a range of responsibilities including staff recruitment, sales goal attainment, operational scheduling, financial monitoring, customer service and facility maintenance. Responsibilities Recruit, select, and orient salon staff. Train, motivate, mentor, and provide feedback to sales staff. Schedule and assign employees; follow up on work results. Monitor controllable expenses such as labor, cost of sales, and expenses. Ensure compliance with all legal requirements. Manage tasks to keep salons clean, stocked, organized, and customer ready. Build rapport with customers to foster loyalty. Investigate and resolve customer concerns in a timely and professional manner. Analyze daily sales and expense information to maximize sales and net profits. Safeguard all money received and meet banking requirements. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven experience in retail or customer service environment. One-year supervisory experience. Ability to positively influence others. Physical ability to stand, bend, walk for long periods, 7+ hours per day, and lift 25 pounds without assistance. Reliable transportation; flexible availability including nights and weekends.
