Requirements Candidates must hold or be eligible for their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP). Responsibilities Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments, utilizing a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques. Establish treatment goals, and develop and implement appropriate speech pathology treatment programs based upon a full clinical evaluation. Provide rehabilitative services to patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team. Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate the plan of care for patients. Treat residents one on one so each patient gets individualized attention through private treatment sessions with a function‑based treatment approach. The ability to individualize treatment sessions. Additional Qualifications Master’s degree from an accredited graduate program in speech‑language pathology. Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP, or ability to obtain prior to beginning employment. Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills.
