Technician - Level 2

Job Summary Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostic and repairs on equipment ranging from aerial work platforms, construction tools, and specialty equipment such as generators, pumps, HVAC, oil/gas. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel and heavy equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical systems. Maintain equipment to avoid downtime and ensure safety. Work in a safety‑focused, fast‑paced environment, adapting to changing priorities. Qualifications & Experience High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent preferred. 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel, heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment (generators, pumps, HVAC, oil & gas). Ability to provide own mechanic tools if necessary. Spanish or other bilingual skills may be required.
