Base pay range $80.00/hr - $120.00/hr Direct message the job poster from Hamlyn Williams Process Controls & Automation Engineering (Contract) - USA Job Title: Automation Engineer (Pharma | GMP) Are you an experienced DeltaV Automation Engineer looking to make an impact in a regulated pharmaceutical environment? We’re hiring a DeltaV Specialist with strong knowledge of Emerson’s DeltaV DCS, GMP compliance, and batch automation to join our high-performing team. What You’ll Do: Design, configure, and support Emerson DeltaV control systems for pharmaceutical manufacturing processes Work across cross-functional teams to develop and implement GMP-compliant automation solutions Lead and contribute to project lifecycle deliverables: URS, FDS, SDS, FAT, SAT, commissioning, and validation Support batch process automation (ISA-88) and recipe development within the DeltaV system Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain system performance in line with GAMP5 and 21 CFR Part 11 standards Author and maintain system documentation, SOPs, and change control records Collaborate with Quality, Validation, and IT teams to ensure data integrity and compliance What You Bring: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automation, or related field 5+ years of hands-on experience with DeltaV in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment Proven knowledge of GMP, GAMP5, and electronic records compliance Experience with batch automation, alarm management, and lifecycle documentation Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills Bonus: DeltaV Certification, experience with MES/ERP integration, or DeltaV version upgrades Why Apply?
