Oracle DBA And Big Data Solutions Architect
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development professional with a strong background in Oracle DBA and Big Data Solutions Architecture. The ideal candidate will have 7 to 10 years of experience in software development, with a focus on designing and implementing robust database solutions that leverage Big Data technologies. This role requires a deep understanding of Oracle databases, data modeling, and the ability to architect scalable solutions that meet business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement Oracle database solutions.
- Oracle DBA, with expertise in PL/SQL
- Experience in cloud DB like postgress and Mongo DB
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Architect and optimize database structures to ensure high performance and scalability.
- Monitor and maintain database performance, security, and availability.
- Implement data governance and data quality measures to ensure data integrity.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in database management.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in software development.
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong expertise in Oracle DBA, including installation, configuration, and administration.
- Proven experience in Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or similar frameworks.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization of Oracle databases.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with cloud based database solutions (e.g., Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure).
- Experience with NoSQL databases and data lakes.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Certifications in Oracle DBA or Big Data technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7 to 10 years of experience in software development with a focus on database solutions.
- Proven track record of successful project delivery in a fast paced environment.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
