This role offers a strong starting point or advancement opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). As a Behavior Technician, you will provide direct support to children and their families by implementing individualized ABA programs focused on developing skills and improving behavior. Services are provided in the client's home or community-based settings, depending on treatment goals. Typical sessions are scheduled Monday through Friday between 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM, with flexibility based on your availability. Hourly pay ranges from $20 to $27 , based on experience and qualifications. Additional compensation opportunities may be available for bilingual Spanish-speaking applicants.

Key Responsibilities

Behavior Technicians are essential in helping children build communication, social, and daily living skills. In this position, you will apply evidence-based behavioral strategies to teach new skills and decrease behaviors that may affect safety or independence. Applicants with coursework or degrees in psychology, education, human services, or related fields are strongly encouraged to apply. Qualifications

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, dependable transportation, and active auto insurance listing them as a covered driver. A current negative TB test is required. Strong interpersonal communication, problem-solving abilities, creativity, and professionalism are important for this position. The role may involve lifting up to 50 pounds and working collaboratively with the clinical team. Physical and Cognitive Requirements:

• Frequently sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and transition between floor-level and standing positions throughout the workday.

• Actively participate in developmentally appropriate client activities, including floor-based activities, movement-based activities, transitions, and safety monitoring.

• Safely navigate assigned work environments, including homes, clinics, schools, community settings, and remote/telehealth settings, as applicable.

• Occasionally, lift, carry, push, pull, or move therapy materials and equipment, typically up to 50 pounds.

• Sit for extended periods while providing telehealth services or completing computer-based work as needed.

• Use hands and fingers to operate computers, keyboards, mobile devices, and other equipment requiring fine motor coordination.

• Maintain visual and auditory awareness to observe client behavior, monitor safety, and communicate effectively in both in-person and virtual settings.

• Read, understand, retain, and apply written and verbal information.

• Maintain attention, concentration, situational awareness, and sound judgment in dynamic environments.

• Collect, record, and submit accurate client data and session documentation.

• Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.

• Maintain professionalism and emotional resilience when addressing sensitive client or employee matters, complaints, and workplace concerns.

Incentive Pay Structure

• $1/hour raise after maintaining consistent availability for 90 consecutive days

• Additional $1/hour raise upon successfully earning RBT certification

Cancellation Policy

To protect staff time and earnings, we maintain a straightforward cancellation policy. Paid cancellations are provided for up to 2 hours of pay if a client cancels within 30 minutes or less of the scheduled start time and/or the technician has already departed for the session. We also actively monitor and address excessive client cancellations to help protect technician schedules and support consistent hours.
