Schedule & Benefits Schedule: Full-time, dayshift, weekend coverage as needed Comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees, including health, vision, dental and paid time off (PTO) Opportunities for career advancement Responsibilities & Qualifications Must have an Active (RN) Registered Nurse license preferred. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) may be considered. Previous experience managing clinical staff in a long term care setting is preferred. Assess the unique needs of each patient to determine appropriate treatment plans. Educate patients and families on best practices to promote healing and wellness. Track treatments and patient progress according to HIPAA guidelines. Coordinate with supervising physicians to ensure smooth recovery process. Supervise the nursing staff on assigned shift by monitoring the distribution of medications, blood draws, and other elements of patient care. Conduct nursing rounds on all each unit multiple times throughout the shift. Provide education, as needed, to staff, residents and resident family members. Ensure staff are performing all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines. Computer knowledge and experience using Point Click Care (PCC) is preferred. Ability to work independently or part of a group. Other duties as assigned by Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing or Administrator.
