Qualifications for a Clinical Lab Technologist:

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field (or an Associate's degree in MLT).
• Maintain certification as a Medical Technologist (MT/MLS) from a recognized accrediting body like ASCP or AMT (preferred, not required).
• Exhibit strong attention to detail and adherence to quality assurance protocols in laboratory operations.
• Although previous experience as a generalist in a clinical laboratory setting is advantageous, it's not obligatory.

Responsibilities for a Clinic Lab Technologist:

• Conduct routine medical laboratory tests utilizing a range of laboratory equipment and methods.
• Utilize laboratory instruments and equipment to accurately interpret test results and generate reports for healthcare providers.
• Work closely with healthcare professionals to interpret findings, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely and accurate laboratory information.
• Ensure compliance with quality control measures and regulatory standards in all laboratory procedures.
• Perform various laboratory tests and analyses on patient specimens, including blood, urine, and other bodily fluids.
