What You'll Do

As a Deli Clerk , you'll help deliver high-quality food and excellent customer service while maintaining a clean and safe deli environment:

• Provide friendly, fast, and accurate customer service
• Prepare and serve food according to Freshies® recipes and food standards
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked deli area
• Receive and verify deliveries (check quality, accuracy, and invoices)
• Track deli and food safety information using handheld or paper systems
• Handle customer concerns and communicate issues to management
• Follow all company policies for cleaning, food prep, and safety compliance
• Use approved products and equipment for food preparation and sanitation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous experience in food service, deli, restaurant, or retail is a plus
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude
• Reliable attendance and ability to work flexible shifts (evenings, weekends, holidays)

Training & Certifications

• TankSmart Certification (Level C) - training provide
