Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status, identifying concerns and the necessity for personalized treatment plans.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are responsive to clients' specific challenges and therapeutic goals.

  • Lead individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate clients' healing processes.

  • Collaborate proactively with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to deliver integrated and effective care.

  • Engage families in the therapeutic process, providing education and support to reinforce recovery and contribute to the clients' progress.

  • Maintain thorough and confidential clinical records in accordance with all regulatory and ethical standards, ensuring the utmost quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at our detox center, you will work primarily with individuals struggling with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. This role is vital in addressing the complex needs of a diverse client base, which includes adults through varying backgrounds and experiences. Your empathy and expertise will be instrumental in fostering resilience and facilitating recovery.

Qualifications\n

  • A current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a closely related field; a Master’s Degree is preferred.
