Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Dispatcher / Human Resources Representative to support daily staffing operations. This dual-role position is responsible for coordinating employee assignments, maintaining communication with clients and field employees, assisting with recruiting and onboarding, and ensuring accurate employee records. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced staffing environment and has excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

Dispatch & Operations

• Schedule and dispatch employees to client job sites.
• Confirm employee attendance and fill last-minute call-offs.
• Communicate daily work assignments and schedule changes.
• Maintain constant communication with clients regarding staffing needs.
• Track employee time and attendance.
• Resolve attendance, scheduling, and transportation issues.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs and staffing records.
• Ensure employees have proper PPE, instructions, and reporting information.

Human Resources

• Recruit, screen, interview, and onboard new employees.
• Process employment paperwork, I-9s, E-Verify, W-4s, and direct deposit forms.
• Maintain employee personnel files and HR records.
• Assist employees with payroll, benefits, and general HR questions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws.
• Coordinate orientations and safety training.
• Process employee status changes, disciplinary documentation, and terminations.
• Support workers' compensation and incident reporting as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of dispatching, staffing, customer service, or HR experience.
• Experience in staffing or light industrial recruiting preferred.
• Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or staffing software such as Avionté, Bullhorn, or similar is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements
