Associate Director, WW Medical Skills

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks an experienced learning leader to serve as Associate Director for Worldwide Medical Skills. This role owns the functional and behavioral skills learning strategy across the entire Medical Organization, both field and home office, translating organizational priorities into coherent learning roadmaps and ensuring Medical teams are equipped to apply scientific knowledge effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end functional and behavioral skills learning strategy for Medical teams across field and home office populations
  • Conduct and set annual Medical training needs assessments combining qualitative and quantitative research across global regions
  • Develop role-based skills frameworks and learning pathways for field and home office Medical roles
  • Partner with WW Medical Learning, Field Medical Excellence, and Medical Affairs leadership to define priority capability needs
  • Monitor external industry trends affecting Medical function and proactively incorporate insights into strategy recommendations

Requirements

  • Extensive experience leading learning strategy and organizational development initiatives
  • Demonstrated expertise in training needs assessment and curriculum design across field and office environments
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across matrixed, global organizations with no direct reports
  • Knowledge of medical affairs, field medical, and healthcare professional engagement practices
  • Experience translating business priorities into measurable learning programs and capability frameworks
  • Ability to monitor industry trends and incorporate insights into strategic recommendations
