Role Responsibilities

• Personalized Care Plans: Assess each patient's unique needs and craft tailored therapy strategies to support their functional aspirations
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based practices to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive function, and daily tasks
• Collaborate with Multifaceted Teams: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, medical professionals, and nursing staff to ensure a holistic approach to patient care
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide guidance to patients and their caregivers on therapy methods to help maintain progress outside the clinical environment
• Assess and Record Progress: Monitor clinical developments, documenting outcomes and adapting treatment approaches to keep patients on their path to recovery

Educational Background

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Support for ongoing education and postgraduate certifications is encouraged

Required Credentials

• Active and valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• Certification from the NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) is mandatory
