Industrial Electrical Technician

Plastipak is looking for an experienced Industrial Electrician at our recycling facility in Keasbey, NJ. This is a Direct Hire position that offers paid training and opportunities for advancement. Summary Repair and maintain the recycling Process Lines, Extruders, and Auxiliary equipment associated with production lines. Electrical troubleshooting, motors, chillers, conveyors, grinders, boilers, and any other equipment installed within Plastipak. Job Title: Electrical Technician Location: Keasbey, NJ Pay: $35/hr Shift: 1st 6:30AM-3PM Mon-Fri What’s in it for you: Direct Hire: Long-Term placement that offers 401k, PTO & medical benefits Advancement: We promote from within, and foster employee growth What you’ll be doing as an Electrical Technician Investigate, troubleshoot and review machinery and equipment problems looking to implement corrective actions. Participate in changeovers, ensuring efficient & correct execution Perform regular preventative maintenance on equipment and machines Operate and test equipment electrically and mechanically for performance and determine if repairs and scheduled maintenance are successful and ensures longevity of the repair. Perform work requiring a thorough working knowledge of electrical principles, wiring specification codes, properties of various materials, principles of operation, and application of equipment Install, wire, or re-wire electrical devices, such as; contractors, overloads, photo eyes, solenoid valves, motors, relays, VFD's and heaters bands.
