Location: Richmond, VA

Pay: $60,000–$125,000 per year (Salary)

No Flat Rate or Commission

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, and repair a wide variety of domestic and import vehicles
• Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, brakes, and other scheduled services
• Identify mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns
• Perform state inspections and ensure compliance with applicable requirements
• Test vehicle systems and components before and after repairs
• Maintain accurate repair orders and documentation
• Coordinate with parts suppliers to obtain necessary components
• Work with insurance companies on covered repairs when applicable
• Recommend maintenance and repair services to customers when needed
• Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of automotive repair experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Vocational or technical school training preferred
• ASE Certification preferred, but not required
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
• Experience using a variety of automotive hand and power tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to quality workmanship and excellent customer service
