Supply Chain Planner

Our client, a leading organization in the biotech and pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to join their team. As a Supply Chain Planner, you will be part of the Supply Chain Department supporting GMP Raw Material Planning . Job Title: Supply Chain Planner Location: Winston Salem, NC (onsite) Type: Contract-to-Hire Pay Range: $30 - $35/hr W2 ($60,000 - $70,000 salary) This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship or C2C What's the Job? Develop and maintain 6–12 month raw material plans to support GMP manufacturing schedules Create and manage planned orders, ensuring timely availability of materials Coordinate closely with vendors to understand capacity constraints, lead times, and custom material requirements Account for sampling, testing, and release requirements when planning material quantities Partner with QA and QC teams to align on sampling, testing timelines, and release processes What's Needed? 3–5 years of experience as a Supply Chain Planner or Planning Specialist Experience working in a GMP-regulated environment (biotech, pharma, cell therapy, or similar) Strong understanding of raw material management, including vendor-specific materials, lot control, and traceability Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and spreadsheet manipulationAbility to independently navigate internal processes and identify the right stakeholders to move work forward What's in it for me?
