Role Overview

Hyatt Place Melbourne Airport is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team. As the overnight face of the hotel, you will ensure exceptional guest service while balancing daily financial transactions and preparing the property for the next day of operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, has strong customer service skills, and takes pride in accuracy and organization.

What You'll Do

Welcome and assist guests during overnight hours with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Perform front desk duties including check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries.
Complete the nightly audit process and reconcile daily financial transactions.
Prepare and distribute required reports for hotel management.
Handle reservations, room assignments, and guest requests.
Respond promptly to guest concerns and resolve issues effectively.
Conduct routine security walks and monitor hotel activity during overnight hours.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area.
Support hotel operations to ensure a seamless guest experience.

What We're Looking For

Previous hotel front desk or customer service experience preferred.
Prior night audit experience is a plus but not required.
Strong attention to detail and basic accounting or cash-handling skills.
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
Excellent communication and guest service skills.
Comfortable using hotel property management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
