Front End Loader OperatorDNT Construction is now hiring several Front End Loader Operators for our Austin Wet Utilities Austin area projects! The Wet Utilities Department supports the underground utility systems by properly backfilling and compacting trenches after pipe installation. To be considered for the role, you must:Have at least 1 year of experience operating a front-end loader in utility or heavy civil construction.Familiarity with material placement for underground utilities, including bedding and cover.Reliable transportation to and from the job site.Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.Compensation is commensurate with experience. A work week averages 40 to 60 hours. This job is labor-intensive, and you will be working outside! What We Offer:Health, Dental, and Vision are effective after 91 days of employment.Paid Time Off starts accruing on day 1!Selected Paid Holidays.401 (k) Contributions after 1 year with employer contributions matching up to 4%.Responsibilities:Operate a front-end loader to dump gravel trucks and record trucking ticketsHaul gravel from on-site stockpiles to the trench as needed for bedding and coverPlace gravel bedding into the trench ahead of pipe installation, ensuring proper depth and alignmentCarefully dump gravel over installed pipe according to project specificationsLoad and unload pipe from delivery trucks safely and efficiently using appropriate handling techniquesCommunicate with ground crews and drivers to maintain a safe and organized job sitePerform daily equipment checks and basic maintenance to ensure safe operationDNT Construction does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or staffing vendors.
