Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room (ED) - Full-Time Mid Shift

Registered Nurse (RN) – Mid Shift, Emergency Department (ED) Unit Location: Texas Health Denton, 3000 N I-35, Denton, TX 76201. Work hours: Full‑time, Mid Shift, 36 hours weekly, 3‑12 hour shifts, 3:00 pm – 3:00 am. Sign‑on bonus for eligible new hires. ED Department Highlights Patients with critical injuries or illnesses are treated in one of our 41 Emergent Care Rooms. Requirements Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred. CLIAFE compliance required for foreign education equivalency. RN license upon hire. BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support before independent patient care; maintain quarterly. ACLS within 90 days of hire. CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 90 days of hire. 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program. 2–3 years of ER experience preferred. ENPC – Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course – 12 months required. TNCC – Trauma Nursing Core Course – 12 months required. PALS within 90 days of hire. Responsibilities Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process: assess, plan, intervene, evaluate, and incorporate safety/infection control. Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others’ need for information. Maintains continuity of patient care inter‑shift, inter‑hospital, and during out‑of‑hospital transfers.
